We are pleased to share some updates regarding our Apprenticeship Program!

• January
  • Completed entry-level drivers training from the 2023 schedule.
  • Trained 1 Local 20 Member for CDL.
  • Trained 28 members from Local 100 on Hazmat safety.
• February
  • Simulators arrived at Local 637.
  • Focused on training the lead training coordinator and three new trainers for the simulators; all four completed training in February.
  • Conducted two mock training sessions at the end of February, training eight members on the simulators.
• March
  • Trained 5 articulator drivers from locals 284, 637, and 100 (mixed group).
  • Trained 5 members for OSHA 1 O from local 637.
• April
  • Trained 6 members on articulating driving from local 637.
  • Pipeline assisted with training, led by Michael Laborde.
• May
  • Trained 6 members on articulating driving, with participants from locals 284, 637, and 697.
• June, July, August
  • Trained 3 CDL Class A drivers, each receiving 166 hours of training, all from local 20.
