TEAMSTERS LOCAL 92
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
To all members of Teamsters Local 92,
Members elected the 92 Teamsters United slate to lead our local union. Our local’s new leadership took office on January 1, 2026.
It’s time to move forward united as Local 92 Teamsters.
Here’s what you can expect in the coming months:
Leadership transition: The new Executive Board met with outgoing Business Agents and is working with Local 92 staff to investigate the status of all grievances, arbitrations, and contracts as well as the local’s operations, and finances.
Putting your dues to work for you: The new Executive Board is cutting our salaries and car allowances and putting that money into member education and involvement, contract campaigns and enforcement, and organizing.
Bringing the union to the members: We will be visiting every shop to meet with members face-to-face to hear your issues.
Building the membership: We are launching a new organizing program to build our membership and increase our bargaining leverage in our right to work shops and in the construction industry.
Contract campaigns: Teamsters across the country are using contract campaigns to win stronger wages and benefits from employers. We will be meeting with members and stewards at workplaces with upcoming contract expirations to make organizing plans and coordinate with the International Union to win the strongest contracts possible.
Contract enforcement, steward, and bargaining training: We are working with the International Teamsters Union to plan steward training and bargaining training events open to all members who want to step up and play a role in our union.
What do you want from your union? Have questions about the transition? Have an issue that you want new leadership to address? Want to learn more about your contract or get involved in organizing? Send us a message.
Building a stronger union isn’t just about electing new leadership. It’s about supporting Teamsters like you in building a stronger union.
Together, we will rebuild Local 92 and put members first.
In Solidarity,
Damian Kungle, Local 92 President
