Teamsters Local 92 is proud to announce the newly formed Jonathan Bowman Teamsters Local 92 Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Mavfair Country Club located at 2229 Raber Road, Uniontown, Ohio, 44685. All proceeds from the outing go directly to the Jonathan Bowman Teamsters Local 92 Scholarship Fund.

This fund was set up to honor a great Teamster leader who unexpectedly passed away on January 18, 2021. Jonathan “Bo” Bowman started his career as a Teamster in 1988 as a Union driver for United Parcel Service. In 1999, Bo became a Business Representative for Local 92 and served on the Ohio State Joint Committee. Bo was very active in his hometown of Dover, Ohio coaching youth sports and maintaining several ball fields. He was always a strong supporter of higher education for youth.

Your donation would greatly enhance a student’s learning environment by removing some stress created by financing their college career. Bo would be proud to have this Scholarship Fund named in his honor. This scholarship will be available to the sons, daughters and grandchildren of active members of Teamsters Local 92.
